Mission
The mission of The Peninsula Foundation (TPF) is to originate, disseminate and increase understanding of public policies based on the principles of liberty, equality, democratic values, efficient and transparent governance, economic freedom, peace and security. TPF works to formulate innovative and robust public policies and serve as a trusted resource for decision makers in government, business, academia, and civil society on issues of India’s sovereignty, security, and prosperity.
Our Focus Areas of Work
TPF strongly believes in India’s founding principles enunciated in its Constitution: Democracy, Secularism, and the values of Justice, Liberty, Equality, and Fraternity for all. We believe for good and effective public policies; they must be rooted in the above principles. Accordingly, TPF’s range of work is covered in four Focus Areas.

TPF believes in its principled, scientific, and unbiased approach its research work. Accordingly, the following emphatic statements characterise TPF’s work ethics;
- The Peninsula Foundation does not represent or lobby for any interest groups or industry, back any political candidates, or engage in direct political activities.
- TPF is not associated with any political organisation or party.
- TPF is a think tank, dedicated to increasing and enhancing the understanding of key public policies and to realistically analysing their impact – positive, adverse, and other.
- TPF is committed to expanding civil society by working on spreading knowledge and awareness among people, and thus reducing the impact of politics on society. In civil society individuals make choices about their lives while in a political society some one else makes or attempts to greatly influence those choices.
