Major General Alok Deb SM VSM (Retd) is a Visiting Senior Fellow at The Peninsula Foundation. He is a Kargil War veteran and has commanded an artillery regiment in Operation Vijay. He is a Distinguished Fellow at the United Service Institution New Delhi and Asian Confluence Shillong. A former Deputy Director General of the Institute of Defence Studies and Analyses New Delhi, he has commanded an Artillery Division.
